Menswear trend: a casual way to wear suits

We are getting used to suffer with the clothes that we wear: skinny jeans that are too tight, impossible heels, complicated necklines that keep us watchful all night... Is it really necessary that suffering and style always go by the hand? Not at all. Today, I'm talking about one of the most versatile trends of the season and, for sure, one of my favorites.

Menswear style for women is a global trend this fall/winter. We have seen it many times in streetstyle at the most important cities during the past Fashion Weeks. Suits, blazers, baggy jeans, sneakers, masculine coats and many more. Caroline de Maigret and Leandra Medine from Man Repeller are some of the IT girls wearing more (and better) this trend.

Masculine style is not all going out messy or wearing jeans and sneakers, but they are also a great choice to be comfortable and follow the trend. My favorite menswear garments are the most elegant ones: long coats, tailored jackets, buttoned shirts, classic watches, suits... The key is to combine them with some feminine and sport details.

In this outfit, I'm sharing with you an example of how to wear menswear suits in a very casual way. The t-shirt with horizontal stripes (that contrast with the pinstripe suit keeping the same tones) and the white sneakers are the elements that make the entire outfit look less shophisticated. Also, the purse bag with golddetails gives the outfit a feminine touch.

Nos hemos acostumbrado a sufrir con todo lo que nos ponemos: pitillos demasiado ajustados, tacones imposibles de llevar más de media hora, escotes de los que hay que estar pendientes todo el tiempo... ¿Es necesario que sufrimiento y estilo vayan siempre de la mano? Para nada. En el post de hoy, os hablo de una de las tendencias más versátiles de la temporada y, sin duda, una de mis favoritas.

Las prendas de estilo menswear son tendencia global este otoño/invierno. La hemos visto infinidad de veces en el streetstyle de las ciudades más destacadas durante las últimas Semanas de la Moda. Trajes de chaqueta y pantalón, blazers, vaqueros anchos, zapatillas, abrigos masculinos... Caroline de Maigret y Leandra Medine de Man Repeller son algunas de las IT girls que más (y mejor) han llevado esta tendencia.

El estilo masculino no es únicamente ir desaliñada o llevar vaqueros y deportivas, aunque también son una gran elección para ir cómoda y seguir la tendencia. Mis prendas menswear favoritas son las más elegantes: abrigos largos, chaquetas de vestir, camisas, relojes clásicos, trajes... La clave para sacar el mayor partido de ellas está en combinarlas con prendas más femeninas y, sobre todo, con prendas más sport.

En el siguiente outfit os muestro un ejemplo de cómo llevar traje de estilo masculino de una forma muy desenfadada. La camiseta de rayas horizontales (que contrastan con la raya diplomática del traje manteniendo los mismos tonos) y las zapatillas blancas son los elementos sport que hacen que el conjunto parezca menos serio. Además, el bolsito de mano con detalles dorados aporta el toque femenino.
