A weekend in Milano

¡Hola guapos! Al fin os puedo enseñar las fotos de mi viaje a Milán. Nos escapamos sólo un par de días durante uno de los primeros fines de semana de octubre, pero fue muy intenso. Aprovechamos para visitar a una amiga que está viviendo allí, y nos dio tiempo a ver la ciudad de Como y Milán capital.

Nos hospedamos en el Hotel AC Milano by Marriott. El servicio que recibimos por parte del hotel fue impecable. Nos atendieron rapidísimo y la habitación era una pasada, ¡menudas vistas! Aún recuerdo lo riquísimos que estaban los croissants del buffet... ¡me entra hambre sólo de pensarlo!

Milán es precioso. Me alucinó cómo los edificios modernos (casi futuristas) y la tecnología se mezclaban con la arquitectura antigua del casco de la ciudad. El Duomo es impresionante, y las tiendas de la Galería son lo más lujoso que podáis imaginar.

Aunque he de decir que Como me enamoró con su encanto de pueblecito italiano. El lago era una maravilla, y el atardecer, de los más bonitos que he visto jamás. Por la noche, las vistas también eran impresionantes. ¡Aunque las fotos no le hacen nada de justicia! Estaba tan embobada con ese lugar, que ni siquiera quise sacar la cámara (apenas hice un par de fotos con el móvil). Es de esos pocos lugares que merece la pena guardar en la retina antes que en la tarjeta de memoria.

Hi babes! Finally I can show you the photos I took during my trip to Milan. We were there just for a couple of days during a weekend in nearly October, but it was really intense. We took the opportunity to visit a friend who is living there and we had time to visit Como and Milan city.

We stayed at the AC Hotel Milano by Marriott. The service we received from the hotel was impeccable. They catered us very fast and the room was amazing, we felt in love with the views. I still remember the taste of the croissants from the buffet breakfast... just thinking about it makes me hungry!

Milan is amazing. I loved how modern buildings (they were almost futuristic) and technology are mixed with the old architecture of the town. The Duomo is impressive, and the Gallery shops are as luxurious as you can imagine.

Although I must say that I loved Como even more... it has an old Italian village feeling that makes you want to stay there forever. The lake was wonderful, and the sunset, the most beautiful I've ever seen. At night, the view was also amazing. It looks much more beautiful in person than in pictures! I was so infatuated with that place, that I forgot to take the camera out (just made a couple of photos with my iPhone). Como is one of those few places in the world that are worth keeping in the retina rather than the memory card.
